Great New store and selection. Very friendly staff
Before the customer rep saw the entire item, she already says “no” three times, she didn’t even explain that the tag (item identification) must be attach to the item and can’t be detached. When I asked for her supervisor and a guy came, I overheard she told the guy “the people over there” and she didn’t even address me or my mother as “our/the customer(s)”. Thankfully, the wording of the receipt was on my side and her supervisor/manager can't do anything, but follow what their return policy on the receipt says.
New Herberger's Store in Onalaska, WI has great possibilities with expanded merchandise and new building. One thing is going to destroy this store very quickly if not acted upon. There is one very visible check out station at the mall entrance to the store, lines at this check out are long and tedious. When a customer goes to jewelry or cosmetics to try and check out the staff says to go to the main check out..........You really think I'm going to Christmas shop at this store?!! Wrong!
Receipt says that a return item from the fine jewelry must have 1) the item(s), 2) the tag, and 3) the receipt.
Fine Jewelry Department: worst customer service experience ever.
Lastly, that tag doesn’t cost $1 million to print and one must wear to the gathering to see if the item fit or not, can’t just wear for a moment and find that it’s good to go. I won’t shop there after this experience.
The new store is beautiful, but a lot is wrong with it and the store won't be opened long if they don't change some things. I believe there were only 2 or 3 checkouts. Customers were waiting half hour to a hour to check out and it wasn't that busy. I couldn't find anyone to help me. The coupons never seem to apply. I did a lot of shopping at the old store.
