This is an old store, and it is worth visiting just to see it. It is a La Crosse icon. Ask for a bolt, etc. and the person will go in back and get it for you. They have some really nice products that you do not normally see at hardware stores. The service is hard to beat.
Hands down the best hardware store I have ever been to, and maybe the best store in town. Service is great, if they don't have what you need, they know where you can get it. Staff is always very knowledgeable and friendly.

This is an atmospheric store that seems to have a little of everything, a throwback to the old genuine general store minus the food. The service is superb, and it's a delight just to wander the aisles and see the vast array of items. I've found items here that I can't find anywhere else except online; I love this place.
