The hotel itself is very nice. The bed was super comfortable, absolutely dreamy. The room was decorated very nicely with good quality , newer looking furniture. The bathroom was comfortable and inappropriate size. The corridors appear to be recently renovated and over all the hotel was very clean. I did not use the pool area so I can't say anything about that. They did have an exercise room and the equipment looked to be in very good condition.
Nice hotel in Downtown Lacrosse. Great food and entertainment within easy walking distance. Newly remodeled in 2016. Friendly staff. Only downside is parking, but I drive a large work truck and the parking garage next to the hotel doesn't have enough clearance for my vehicle. Normal sized cars and trucks should have no problem.
Rooms seem small. Temperature is constantly fluctuating because it blows hot air to desired temperature then instantly switches cold air to cool it down. The hallways are cold, felt like low 60's. Gym is smaller than the rooms. TV's in the rooms are small. Nevertheless, the service at the front desk is great. Welcoming staff. Attached burger restraunt is great price and quality.
There were two reasons I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. The first is the key cards had to be reprogrammed three times in the three days I stayed there. I would get to my room swipe the card in the door wouldn't open. So that I had to go all the way back down to the front desk get it reprogrammed and come back up to the room and try it again. It was kind of a pain. The second reason that I gave it 4 stars is there is no complimentary breakfast. I guess I've just grown accustomed to that benefit. Had I made the reservation myself, I would have been prepared for it. But because it was a reservation made by my employer, the lack of a breakfast was unexpected.
Very cool old fashioned ice cream parlor! Wide variety of flavors and tastes great. Awesome customer service. This place was busy as ever but they had enough employees to make it go rather quickly. I would definitely recommend if you are in the area. The chocolate milk shake was awesome!
Fantastic staff. The on-site restaurant is nice. Parking structure is a great bonus. Nice rooms. Clean.
